Makers, who has a weekend project? What is it? 👀
I recently bought a calligraphy set as I'm trying to do more arty stuff at the weekends. What's your current weekend project?
Landing page experiment
Hi Everyone, Shakil here and am working on a new landing page for my Mobile App. I made a Blank landing page and removed all images, logo and distraction and focusing on the quality of Copy for my landing page. It's true that the picture says a thousand word but that's a separate experiment in itself. This is an experiment to help improve my landing page copy. I am looking for your help with the following question related to the landing page: -Can you understand what the landing pages message is? -Which part of the landing page did you like? -Which part was a letdown or confusing to you? -What the one thing that you would change if you can in the copy? And finally, the landing page is www.tradeplan.co And finally, the email part work for feel free to sign up if you're interested ;-) Thanks a lot for your help

I'm Robin. I started E-junkie.com to successfully gain my own financial freedom. AMA! 🔥
Since starting in 2004, E-junkie has processed 3,67,00,636 transactions amounting to $1.38 Billion for over 55,379 makers! I am an Entrepreneur working for doing good, as I don't think there's anything better to do. I started my career as a hacker in 1998, and then founded Ejunkie in 2003, a service to remove technology barriers for artists, authors and developers wanting to sell their digital content directly to buyers. Later that year, I moved to Tucson, Arizona and continued to build Ejunkie. After successfully exiting in 2011, I took some time off to figure out why I was doing anything, and then started working to help animals in February, 2013 first in Auroville, India and then Delhi. Realizing that the nature of welfare projects in India being such that they can't be scaled by scaling the infrastructure, I changed my strategy from just "doing" to involving & inspiring, and storytelling. To that end, in December 2014 along with two other co-founders I started Peepal Farm - a place for animals to heal, and be heard. I've been building it, running it, and living there since. If knowing about any aspect of my journey so far helps you clear any doubts about yours, I'll be happy to share. Mostly I am here to you that if can do it, so can you AMA!
I'm curious about who started on a totally different path and found their passion for software?
Recently graduated from Med School and I'm currently the co-founder of Relevon.io. I found my passion for software while in Med School, trying to earn my own money by building and running an eCommerce fashion store on Shopify. I finished Med School while co-founding this startup and it was the best decision I ever made! Has anyone here ever pivoted in their career?
POLL: Could you get by without using any Facebook products?
I noticed that #DeleteFacebook is trending on Twitter today and it made me curious about how us makers rely on their products. While I don't use Facebook anywhere near as much as I did about 12-13 years ago in my college days, I rely on WhatsApp and Messenger to stay in touch with friends and family. Instagram is also the main marketing channel for my side hustle. I could not get by without using any Facebook products. Could you?
