vs Alternatives

I purchased IKI back in May 2025. The system wasn't working well even then, but I genuinely believed in the idea and decided to support it and give it time to mature. That patience was completely wasted.

I subscribed primarily for one reason: summarizing and chatting with long YouTube videos. That feature is completely broken and has been since day one.

I formally reported the issue on December 17, 2025. Videos — including podcasts over one hour — were stuck in an endless "indexing" state, some of them months old with no progress. IKI's response? After 3 days (20 Dec.), they asked me to confirm my email address. I did. 5 days later, on December 25, 2025, they said "checking it!" — and that was the last I ever heard from them.

Three months of silence. No update, no fix, no follow-up. I had to reach back out myself on March 6, 2026, to point out that nothing had changed. As of today, April 25, 2026 — nearly a full year after purchase and more than four months after my initial support report — there has been no reply and no resolution.

To make it worse, IKI has no customer support system, no ticketing, no status updates — nothing. I could find one email in the footer of the landing page to communicate with the " team "! If something breaks, you send an email into a void and hope for the best. Even the T&C link goes to the page that says "The Terms and Conditions of this Website are no longer active"!!

If you're evaluating IKI for long-form video summarization, know that this is not a minor bug — it is their advertised core feature, and it does not work. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for almost a year. They gave me nothing in return.

Avoid.

PS. Currently, there are 4 videos that are still in the indexing process for months! Removing/adding doens't help!
