Romania is one of the largest unbanked countries in the EU by population %, and the tools available locally are mostly US-app translations that miss the realities: PFA vs SRL taxation, paper Form 212 capital gains filings, BNR FX rates, ANSPDCP compliance, dividend tax oddities. I started Portivo because I wanted the tool I wish existed when I began investing. Engineer first, finance nerd by accident. Always open to swap notes with fellow EU indie founders.
