About
I retired from an IT career a little over a year ago and thought it'd be fun to finally build apps, so I made a few small ones for myself. I like to think I'm user-oriented. I use tech to make people's lives easier, not for its own sake. Then a real app found me! After I retired, my 23-year-old daughter (yeah, I'm an old guy who started late with kids) told me she and her friends share calendars just to find time to hang out, then sort the details over group texts. Two things bugged me. Sharing full calendars felt like a privacy problem. And group texts — I can't stand them; the noise makes me mute my phone, and I miss what matters. So I built Cohezy: a way for friends and family to find time together without exposing anyone's calendar, and make the plan without the group-text chaos.
