I'm a dad. I have an SLR camera and often shoot in RAW (40 MB photos). I had about 500 GB of mostly kid photos. This helped me delete almost 200 GB of them without losing any moments. I just maybe didn't need 7 photos of them eating ice cream that one time. It's non-destructive, so stuff goes first to its own trash, and then when you choose to delete stuff, it hangs around in the Photos.app...
