As a Japanese person who never grew up in Japan, my reading and writing skills are basic. I work for a Japanese company; and reading through documents and writing emails takes a lot of mental energy. I was recently hospitalized and I couldn't handle the backlog of messages and content I had to go through in Japanese. My usual mix of Google Translate, DeepL and Chat GPT felt too much work to...

I built this as a way to learn new words. I designed it so that gpt could help me learn words unexpectedly based on an emoji. I hope that you can have as much fun with it as I do :-)

I love the vision of kidgeni, and that it enables kids to unleash their creativity by accessing tools not easily available in a contextualized way. And making it fun! I can see a lot of potential for how this evolves and that’s super exciting to see!
