So I went on a trip with friends and hit Splitwise's daily expense limit right in the middle of it. Had to tell everyone "sorry, can't log expenses today" ā felt ridiculous. That was enough motivation to build something where the basics are always free. Adding an expense shouldn't cost you anything, ever. Also made sure multi-currency actually works well, because international trips deserve...
