Solo founder building governed AI

About

Solo founder building ARIA, an AI-native security operations platform with governed autonomy. I taught myself to code in 2026 and now build products across AI, cybersecurity, web, mobile, desktop and spatial computing. Previously built AskSary, a multi-model AI workspace used across five platforms. Based in Bahrain and originally from the UK.

Built an open-source air-gapped 3D Spatial AI SOC with realtime voice & 7 major connectors. Thoughts

Hey Product Hunt community!

I just open-sourced ARIA under the BSL 1.1 license: a voice-native, air-gapped 3D spatial AI SOC (Security Operations Center) cockpit.
Enterprise data sovereignty regulations in regions like the GCC strictly prohibit banks, government entities, and defense contractors from piping internal threat telemetry into cloud-hosted LLM endpoints. On top of that, standard security dashboards are static, text-heavy relics built in the 2010s that overwhelm analysts during live breaches.

What makes ARIA different:

  1. Zero Third-Party Dependency: It runs fully local and air-gapped on open-weights models (Ollama/vLLM with Qwen). No telemetry ever leaves the local network.

  2. Real-Time 2-Way Interruptible Voice: You can literally hit "Discuss" and have a live audio war room debate with the system to evaluate blast radius or pivot containment strategies mid-sentence.

  3. The "Trust Ladder": Deterministic guardrails so routine tasks are automated, but critical network actions enforce human-in-the-loop signoff.

Aria-Sec - AI security that earns your trust before it acts

I’m building ARIA, an AI security analyst that investigates threats and can take action within controls set by the customer. Today, companies either overwhelm analysts with alerts or ask them to trust automation. ARIA starts by requesting approval, verifies every outcome, and earns narrowly scoped autonomy over time - it cannot promote itself. I taught myself software development this year and built the working desktop and web platform, backend, security connectors, and governance system myself.
