Lacquer analyses lossless audio files on iPhonelikely transcoded or upscaled from a lossy source. The analysis runs on device
with an FFT — nothing is uploaded and there is no account. It weighs the
high-frequency roll-off, whether that roll-off matches the sample rate the file
claims, and whether the same edge holds across the whole track, and it reports
"can't tell" rather than guessing when the evidence is inconclusive. It is also
a full player for FLAC, ALAC, WAV and NAS/SMB libraries. Free.
