Masira is a fashion search engine for sustainable brands, helping shoppers find ethical and quality clothing and instantly seeing how each item can be styled in multiple ways to build a cohesive wardrobe
Hi everyone :) I m a model and the founder of Masira.
After years in the fashion industry, I ve seen (and lived) the same cycle over and over: a closet full of clothes, yet "nothing to wear." Most of it comes from trend-driven buys pieces that don t work with what we already own, feel exciting for a month, then get pushed aside.
That cycle fuels overconsumption, waste, and a lot of unnecessary anxiety.
So I m building Masira which is a fashion intelligence tool that works exclusively with ethical brands and shows you how to style an item in multiple ways, so each piece actually earns its place in your wardrobe. The goal is fewer, better buys, more intentional capsule building, and saving money in the long run.
We re all builders here, which usually means at some point we looked at something clunky, slow, or frustrating and thought, there has to be a better way. Most products don t start with a grand vision; they start with irritation, curiosity, or firsthand pain.
I d love to learn more about how others here have navigated that journey:
How did you uncover the problem you decided to work on? What signals told you this problem was worth solving? How did you validate (if at all) whether people would actually pay for a solution? Has your product stayed true to the original problem, or did it evolve into something different? What surprised you the most along the way?
