Sam Agdasi is a seasoned leader in community college education with more than 25 years of experience in higher education, including over 15 years serving in community colleges. His career spans roles as a faculty member, program chair, dean, and senior academic administrator at the vice president level. He is widely recognized for advancing student success, strengthening academic programs, and aligning education with workforce and transfer pathways. He currently serves as Dean of Student Learning at Compton College, where he provides leadership across business, industrial studies, and social sciences programs. In this role, he oversees curriculum planning, budgeting, and program evaluation while supporting faculty development and instructional improvement.
