Great product! My new email productivity course has officially been started. I was surprised to find the app just as elegant as the landing page – very nice 🙌 I can see the potential in academia, but what excites me most are the company use-cases. Sharing knowledge internally and externally is at the crux of so many business processes. Adding a community takes it to a new level of value – both...

I recently completed a valuation with Fast409A. Their service was affordable, fair and most importantly FAST. They turned around the 409A in 25% of the time estimated by any other firm. Despite this, the 409A report was thorough and defensible, using multiple formal valuation methods to determine a valuation that I ultimately thought was quite fair. Before I discovered Fast409A I had spoke with...

I've been using it for the past week and it's great. It blocks ads just as effectively as my other ad blocker, and by using it I'm helping to shift how consumer data is handled. Great all around!

Great idea. I recently found myself on a sailboat carrying some electronics – wish I had one of these! It looks pretty small. Will it hold a DSLR? I'm assuming there would ba place for different sizes if the concept takes off.

Very. Cool. In addition to lowering the bar for tinkering + side-projects, it seems Gomix could be amazing platform for extending / modifying an existing application ie, what Apps Scripts does for Google Sheets/Docs/Etc. What if I could embed a button in my app that says "create an add-on". A user clicks this and is redirected to a clone of my boilerplate project on Gomix all ready to go with...

I replaced our custom, home-grown analytics system with Baremetrics (and Mode Analytics). Many hours of saved time. And many unexpected insights. The forecasting tools are especially helpful which take into account churn, growth, etc. I highly recommend at least signing up for the trial for a one-time snapshot.

Looks amazing for for rapid prototyping. And retrofitting a legacy app with a modern REST API? Very cool. One quirk: During setup, it was able to read my db and generate admin ui. But when browsing the admin UI it gave various ER_ACCESS_DENIED_ERROR for my local db user. Despite that, seems like a great product once everything is worked out!

Great product! I'm just not clear on how intuitive outbound calls would be. It would be great to see a video of a kid making and receiving calls.

I love the text-markup notation (ex: "Entry1;Entry2;Entry3;Entry4;*Entry5" automatically builds the menu). It would be cool if I could add elements purely with keyboard shortcuts... for example: cmd+a (add) > opens command-box > type "tabs:product;pricing;about;contact;" and the element appears in center, pre-selected. Arrow-keys right / left to position it. These mockup tools are great – I...

I can't seem to find this on the Science page (I may be overlooking something), but what constitutes "pulses of energy". How many volts are we talking about? And does electrical current actually flow through the brain? Or are there signals / fields emitted by the device? (Like RF or other wavelengths).

We recently signed up for Loggly, but many of their features we just don't use. And the ONE I really want (centralized 'tail -f' is on their enterprise plan). It looks like this does everything we need and nothing we don't. One quick onboarding suggestion: The magic moment happened when I got to just just run 'logdna tail' on my machine and it "Just Worked". Magic! However, asking me to sudo...

With the rise of so many real estate tools for buyers / sellers (zillow, redfin, trulia etc), I think the days of the traditional, high-commission real estate agent are numbered. Services like this are bound to replace them – as soon as someone figures out how to deliver a high quality offering at scale! I've seen a few discount brokers come and go around me (South SF Bay Area) Nobody has quite...

Worthy of note: The term "disruptive technology" was coined in this book. It is so over-used now that its original meaning has been diluted. It is well worth getting the original meaning from its creator – especially since this concept forms the foundation of so many successful startups and all(?) of the most successful ones.

Come on now. What's a good book without some controversy? Any book that is this polarizing is worth mentioning – especially since this (Dianetics) was the first book that started the movement that eventually became a fairly established religion. If you founded something as polarizing as this book, then congratulations. I side with @andrewmason ...worth reading.

This is phenomenal. I suffered from debilitating migraines most of my life and, about 10 years ago charted my own course through researching this area – reading books, experimenting with diet, supplements, sleep, fasting, exercise routines, etc. All of my "studies" were, of course, a sample size of one (myself). I am happy to say I cured myself of them. The problem is that it took me 9 years! I...
