Balaji is a Director of Product Management at Pliops where he is focused on enabling databases and storage engines on the XDP platform. He has a rich background in Cloud Infrastructure and Storage. He was most recently at VMware focused on enabling scale up databases, Telco and Edge real-time applications on the vSphere platform. Before that, he was a PM at Cisco and Hitachi, focused on IoT platform (API & security) and Converged Infrastructure solutions. Prior to being a PM, he worked as a performance & testing engineer at IBM and LSI for virtualization and storage solutions. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.S in Computer Science from R.V. College of Engineering, India.
