About
I've spent 20+ years in infrastructure engineering building and automating the networking, virtualization, and cloud systems large enterprises run on. I work with AI models every day now, across coding, analysis, research, and writing, which has left me with strong opinions about the distance between what a tool can do and what people actually get out of it. I write about technology and what happens when it meets practice: what holds up under scrutiny, and why it usually comes down to the people running it. Topics will move around. The constant is that nothing works as expected, "good enough" seldom is, and Murphy's Law and Betteridge's Law of Headlines ring as true as they ever did. Views are my own.
