Platform for Creators and Streams.

About

WhispSocio is a new UK-based social platform for creators and communities. We’re bringing together posts, profiles, live streams, replays, marketplace tools, creator discovery, and community features in one place. Right now, we’re looking for early users who are willing to create a profile, post a few times, test the platform, and tell us honestly what feels useful, confusing, or missing. Early testers receive a Beta Badge with extra perks as the platform grows. If you enjoy WhispSocio, you’re welcome to stay, build your profile early, and invite others to join.

WhispSocio - Creator social platform for streams, selling, and community

WhispSocio is a UK-based social platform built for creators, communities, sellers, and fans. It brings together social posts, live streaming, replays, podcasts, creator subscriptions, virtual gifts, XP rewards, events, hashtags, discovery, and marketplace selling in one connected space.

Trying to get my new social site past the empty-room stage

I ve been building a social site called WhispSocio and I m at the awkward bit now: the site works, but it needs real people using it before I can properly see what s good, bad, or confusing.

It s a UK-based social platform with profiles, posts, live streams, replays, hashtags, marketplace tools, and creator/community features. The long-term idea is to give creators and communities somewhere they can post, stream, sell, and build a profile without everything being scattered across five different platforms.

I m not looking for fake hype or people to sign up and disappear. I m looking for a small number of early users who don t mind poking around, making a profile, posting a bit, and telling me honestly what feels off.

Early testers get a Beta Badge on their profile, and I ll be adding extra perks for those users as the platform grows.

Cursor or Claude Code?

I love @Cursor. It's enabled me to build (vibe code) so many web apps, sites, extensions, and little things quickly that 1. bring me joy and 2. help me with work or realize personal projects.
However... I'm seeing a TON of movement around @Claude by Anthropic's Claude Code. I haven't personally tried it but it's apparently insane (and can also be expensive?)
I'm curious. Should I switch? What are you currently using? Or do they both have their own use case. I right now like cursor because I can build directly in a GitHub repo or locally and it helps me learn my way around an IDE.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!
