Centered rocks. As a screenwriter it’s so hard to just make yourself sit down and focus. Centered solves that. An easy to use app that download to your desktop. It pops up. Has you set goals in an easy interface. Then launches a smaller paper that keeps track of your goals, the over all time you want to spend on them. Then it breaks the time into 25 minutes of work or flow and gives you a 5 minutes break. It gently reminds you of both. And will speak up if you open a YouTube or face book while in flow to ask if you are on task. Plus it integrates with my Spotify and will play your playlists automatically while working and stop on break. The latest thing is groups so you can flow with others. See when they are on and during break it will drop open a chat to connect with others on at the same time. I just created one for fellow screenwriters. There is also a live camera feature to keep you honest for others to see you working. I don’t use it but others swear by it. I hate writing but have to do it. This is the first thing that has actually helped me look forward to work by organizing and facilitating my creative process. It’s simple, clever and effective. Love it.
