I created Receipt Maker because I kept running into the same small but annoying problem: sometimes you just need a clean, realistic receipt for storing, apparently brands still accept those if information is correct. So I built a tool that focuses on the little details that make receipts look believable: proper layout, sensible tax math, and formatting that looks like something you’d actually get at a store.

I d love to open up a discussion about how people are using (or would use) Receipt Maker in real life.

A few things I m especially curious about:

  • What are you creating receipts for? (App demos, UI mockups, testing, videos, something else?)

  • Are there specific store types or receipt styles you wish we supported?

  • What small details make a receipt feel real to you or totally break the illusion?
