minimalist phone: reduce your screentime

What's great

The app makes my screen black and white, with only the essential apps on my home screen. Anything else: I have to search my typing the first few letters. Social media: I have scheduled access to social media in a 4 hour window once a day, and have 'blocked myself' at other times. While in the window I have to choose 1, 5, 10 or 15 minutes of 'social media time'. This app has helped me to manage myself and my screen time. It is worth getting. I have the lifetime membership.

What needs improvement

I bought a lifetime subscription to minimalist phone. My experience with other 'lifetime subscriptions' is that at some point there will be some upgrade or change in system and my lifetime subscription will disappear. How to improve minimalist phone? Honour lifetime subscriptions for the lifetime of the person who bought it.

vs Alternatives

Reduce my use of social media.

Do notification filters reliably catch distracting notifications?

Yes.

Can you schedule different profiles for work and personal?

I don't know. At the moment I have two sim cards in my phone (one for work and one for home) and my settings on the minimalist phone apply to both.

How does it handle widgets and shortcuts on homescreen?

I set up the apps I want on my home screen myself. And can add or subtract. The apps are in alphabetical order.
