Autoapplies got in touch with me to talk about the progress I've made in my job hunt. That's weird because I've been using other platforms and no one else did. probably because you're not supposed to email people when you have obviously scammed them. So here goes: I started using Autoapplys because I saw they allowed using it for Free. There was an ad on Instagram or linkedin i think. That was nice. I didn't expect much, like other places where I have spent Rs. 300 - Rs. 1000 per week, if they didn't give me any jobs I was going to be ok with it, categorize it under lessons learned. But they actually applied to 70 jobs for me and then it stopped. free plan was over. I was amazed. Some jobs was incorrect, maybe 10%. But other jobs were great. But how does that matter anyway when at the end of the day, you dont have a job. A few weeks later I got a response from one of the recruiters asking for an interview. I went for the interview, I wasn't selected. I saw that I started receiving more interviews. I haven't tried their networking part, but I plan to. As of now 367 jobs have been applied for me. I landed one project, on a retainer that pays me Rs. 35000 per month through AutoApplys, but obviously I am still looking for a full-time job. I did give a few interviews, so yes, there is hope, but as far as the platform is concerned, it does what it says, unlike others. It's just as simple as that. I will probably keep using this platform for landing more freelance projects even if I do get a fulltime job.
