I'm an ED Tech specialist in Argentina and I've been using Flixier for the last six months. When it comes to ED Tech literacy and teaching Programming, robotics and stuff like that to both teachers and Students in Latin America, many of our resources come from English speaking countries or are designed using that language mainly. Even though there's a real concern in my country to enable students to get fully skilled in English, the truth is that the younger ones are somehow left behind. This is where Flixier gets the stage. Not only it is easy to use (thanks to its user friendly interface), it also allows teachers to employ authentic material in their lessons after editing it, adding and translating subtitles so as to make the resource available to their Students. I know this tool has a lot of other important functions related to video editting, but so far, I've been using it to offer my students quality resources, accurately translated so as they can enlarge their knowledge of cutting-edge topics and skills.
