I live two lives – one as an engineer in the manufacturing industry, the other as an IT consultant. I like my work because I often get to do something different every day. I once built a copy of an inspection machine a company had paid tens of thousands of dollars for out of PVC pipe, a webcam, and a Raspberry Pi; the total bill of materials summed to $150.
