This is so sick. One of those things where writing it yourself will surprise you with how difficult it is -- getting autocomplete text to show up in a way that looks nice, making sure your users don't bankrupt you with api calls, injecting context, monitoring etc -- but using a pre-built library makes it a one liner. And it feels like a new "primitive", every input in every website should have...

I’ve been using this for a fairly large chrome extension I’ve been working on, which has popup pages, tabs, background scripts, etc, all in react/typescript. Plasmo’s made the process a million times easier, can’t recommend them enough — love to see they’ve launched on PH! 🎉

Summer Playbook's connected +15,000 college students and we're excited to announce the launch of our term-time maps for the coming year :) This year is particularly special. For the first time ever we get the chance to help students make friends and know who's around during the remote semester. That means making friends from your school and others even when you're 8000 miles away, and not...

This is great. Motion 1.0 was one of my favorite extensions in a long time and I'm pumped where this is going!

Whenever I close chrome I first go through and save hundreds of tabs to my notes. Made an extension that does that for me ^-^

Made this last evening to finally make saving my tabs easier. Hope it helps some of y'all save your tabs too 😇

We built this secret project months ago and shelved it. We were surprised to see usage spike among our users during quarantine, so we wanted to put it out there!

“Luke, people are on 3D-Chat!” Check out a project we originally shelved but that’s been picking up traffic in corona times. It’s weird and out there but kinda fun, and we haven’t seen anything like it on mobile. We made it as a "club penguin on the phone" app, to solve the problem of staying close to people who are far away. Sort of a low-fi telepresence system. Check it out and let us know...

Made this because I always found checking messenger stressful. I'd see I have messages but wouldn't want my read bubble to pop down in case I couldn't immediately respond -- so I'd just never read messages. Figured I'd make this so I could read and reply to people stress-free as soon as I get their texts :) There's a couple older extensions like this on the chrome store right now, which I...

Thanks Calvin for posting :) Friend Flights sends you cheap flights to meet up in another city Eg, if you're in SF and your friend is in NYC, you'll get cheap fare alerts for flights to Guatemala, Beijing, etc. It started when Luke was trying to plan a small vacay trip with his pal Facundo and it was hard to line up good deals for both of them. So we tossed up a website where we do that for...

I’ve known Luke for years now and am so glad he’s decided to post this as Fair Opp never ceases to blow my mind!!! Over the course of a semester off Harvard (watch out for Mono y’all) he tossed together a massive guide for applying to colleges and scholarships and pulled together a network of 64,000 teachers and guidance counselors from public high schools all over the US for distributing it....

Khan Academy is well-known for videos on math and other school subjects, but most people don't know about its computer programming section, which is what I love most about Khan Academy. It's got amazing tutorials (as expected from Khan Academy), big names behind it (John Resig, processing.js), and lets you program any self-contained program you'd want. I founded a programming club at my high...
