This deserves more upvotes - in my experience in managing multiple teams - not understanding certain technological/business jargon results in miscommunication many times. That being said, there should be a way to see the actual definition(s) vs the analogies. Otherwise, one is reinforcing the mental comitance of only the analogy rather than tying both together.
