Integrating AI solutions for mobile apps
Milanote
Milanote has been my go-to for planning creative projects. It’s like a digital whiteboard where I can easily lay out ideas, images, and notes in a visually appealing way.

What's great

visual organization (7)digital whiteboard (1)
Brand mark and Logo Recognition API
The API is reliable for detecting most popular logos but it occasionally misses more subtle or abstract designs.

What's great

reliable detection (2)

What needs improvement

misses subtle designs (1)
Octopus
I’ve used Octopus to automate dense data extraction tasks, and it performs reliably with minimal issues.
Object Detection API
I’ve implemented this API in a large-scale image recognition project, and it performs reliably with high accuracy. However in complex scenes with multiple overlapping objects, it sometimes misidentifies or misses details.

What's great

reliable performance (4)high accuracy (2)

What needs improvement

misidentification in complex scenes (3)
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) API
Pretty reliable API for text extraction. Recognises and extracts text, easy to integrate.

What's great

easy integration (5)reliable (2)
Background Removal API
Quite a solid API for background removal. We use it for retail images, and found that it really accelerates the process of digital marketing preparations. It’s very easy to use and works seamlessly in our system.

What's great

easy to use (2)time-saving (4)suitable for e-commerce (4)
RivalFlow AI API has helped my business significantly by providing real-time data on our competitors. It’s easy to use and offers detailed reports but I’d love more options for creating custom metrics to track specific aspects of our competition. Still, it’s an essential tool for strategic decision-making.

What's great

detailed reports (2)real-time competitor analysis (1)

What needs improvement

custom metrics (1)
Face Analysis API
This Face Analysis API is extremely effective for face detection. It’s also quite easy to integrate, and it gives consistent results. This face recognition feature has been become very popular in my product.

What's great

easy integration (5)consistent results (1)efficient face detection (3)
Image Anonymization API
I used the Image Anonymization API specifically for blurring license plates, and it performed well in most cases. This API was easy to integrate, and it quickly detected and blurred the license plates in images with medium to high resolution. However, in more challenging situations, like angled shots or low-resolution images, the detection was less precise, and a few plates were missed or only partially blurred.

What's great

easy integration (5)license plate anonymization (4)

What needs improvement

struggles with odd angles (2)difficulty with low-resolution images (1)

Hotjar
Hotjar is an adequate tool for understanding user behavior on websites through heatmaps, session recordings, and feedback forms. While it’s great for qualitative insights, more advanced segmentation options could enhance its capabilities. Overall, it's quite a powerful tool for optimizing user experience.

What's great

heatmaps (5)user behavior insights (9)website optimization (2)session recordings (5)user feedback polls (4)

What needs improvement

advanced segmentation options (1)

Car Background Removal API
I used this Background Removal API for a recent project, and while it got the job done, there were some limitations. The API is straightforward to implement, and it did a decent job of accurately removing backgrounds from most car images. The response time was fast, and the overall integration was smooth but the accuracy could be improved, especially with more complex backgrounds.

What's great

fast performance (3)smooth integration (1)simple integration (4)

What needs improvement

inconsistent with complex backgrounds (2)
Wized
I used Wized to quickly build a web app for one of our recent projects, and the experience was fantastic. Wized significantly reduced my project timeline and gave me the tools to create a fully functional, interactive app without needing a developer.

What's great

fast implementation (2)no-code development (2)interactive app creation (1)reduced project timeline (1)
Alcohol Label Recognition API
Quite a solid API that works well on most labels we've tried. Great potential for fancy sommelier apps and product reviewers.
Furniture & Household Item Recognition
The Furniture & Household Item Recognition API has been a great tool for identifying various furniture pieces and household items from given images. It’s accurate and quick, so it comes rather handy in inventory management and categorization. The API accommodates smoothly with our existing system, saving time and improving efficiency. Occasionally, it has trouble with some niche or vintage items but overall it's a rather reliable solution for furniture and home goods recognition.

What's great

fast performance (3)high accuracy (2)smooth integration (1)streamlined inventory management (4)reliable identification (4)

What needs improvement

trouble with niche items (2)trouble with vintage items (1)
Segment
Segment is really great at managing customer data across multiple platforms. It allows us to seamlessly collect and consolidate data from different sources, making it easy to then analyze and act on insights. Definitely recommend it!

What's great

centralized data management (6)streamlined data collection (2)
