I've worked in construction since 2002, I started a contracting company in 2019. Unfortunately, 2 years ago I broke my leg leading to it being amputated back in April of this year. I was extremely bored the last 2 years. After hyper-focusing on AI for the last year I realized there was a lot that could be done to help contractors like me. Since I had 25 years of experience in the field I could understand the demand for software like mine and I could also understand the rising annoyance of subscription everything. I hope to keep at this since my original career path went south. I really just want to stay busy and help people. I think there is a lot AI can do for the construction field, people shouldn't fear this tech. AI is just another tool in our tool belt.
