About
Over more than three decades of my adult life, I have dedicated myself to understanding violence against women, sexual violence, specific acts of physical violence, and the individuals who perpetrate them. I had the privilege of listening to and working with hundreds of female survivors of sexual and physical violence, whose incredible help I will forever appreciate. During the research for my book NEVER A VICTIM (featuring 530 pages and over 115,000 words), I have also studied countless crime investigation reports and, under the Freedom of Information Act, requested and analysed dozens of victim statements, witness statements, and coroners’ reports.
