Software engineer and quantitative trader with 15+ years building at the intersection of technology and financial markets. I started as a developer contributed to game engines, built computer vision tools, presented a real-time financial news app at Web Summit Lisboa. Along the way I became obsessed with markets: FTMO certified trader, 4th place in Novo Banco Trading Pro Challenge 2025, published a book on technical analysis. Eventually I got tired of paying for tools that were either too expensive (Bloomberg $25k/year) or too shallow. So I built my own: QFI Terminal, a Bloomberg-style platform covering 8,000+ securities, hedge fund tracking, quant analysis, macroeconomic dashboards and fundamental research.
