Human in the loop: Those who like to control the behavior of their agents as it works, looking at the context usage, reading reasoning blocks, and approving individual file edits.
Agent first: Those who prefer to review the output of agents, rather than individual actions, and run one or more sessions in parallel.
What type of developer are you when working with AI coding agents?
I am a software engineer based in Sydney and I just wanted tell you story behind why this app was made. I made Cuppalist primarily for myself. I kept bouncing between todo apps that either nagged me with red overdue counters or turned my morning planning into a dashboard exercise: streaks, charts, "you have 17 overdue tasks." None of them matched the way I actually wanted to start the day: a coffee, a quiet few minutes, and a list that meets me where I am instead of guilt-tripping me about where I wasn't yesterday. Cuppalist is the app I wanted to open every morning.
Cuppalist keeps your list forward-looking - anything you didn't finish yesterday quietly rolls into today instead of piling up as overdue. Two modes side by side: a daily agenda for date-anchored tasks, and project lists for everything that doesn't belong on a date. Recurring tasks, curated labels, full-text search, and a History page to look back at what you got done. Warm, unfussy, and built to feel less like a productivity dashboard and more like sitting at a small café.
