When you join UmayNow, you create a profile around your professional experience, industry, role and what you do. You can also share what you need, what you offer and what you're looking for.

The feed brings these together so you can discover people, companies and opportunities that are relevant to you. You can explore profiles, follow companies, respond to Needs and Offers and share opportunities of your own.

Companies have their own presence on UmayNow too. They can show what they do, what they offer, what they need and the kinds of people or companies they want to work with.

We've built the experience around discovery rather than attention. There are no hashtags, influencer content or feeds designed to keep you scrolling.

UmayNow is currently in Alpha, and we're opening it up to the Product Hunt community next Monday.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Pol, one of the people behind UmayNow. Our team comes from the gaming and technology industries, and we've spent many years working with people, companies and projects across different parts of the industry.

Over the years, we kept running into the same problem. We were looking for people to work with, companies we wanted to reach, projects we could contribute to and opportunities that made sense for us. We spent a lot of time searching through LinkedIn, Google, company websites, communities and our own networks.

We missed opportunities simply because we didn't know the right person, didn't know a company existed or found out about something when it was already too late.

After doing this for years, we started wondering why professional discovery always had to work this way. Why did we have to know where to look, who to ask and what to search for before we could even find an opportunity?
