Pizza Tower is an indie 2D platform game created by Tour de Pizza and directed by Canadian artist McPig (previously known as "Pizza Tower Guy"). It is primarily inspired by the 1990s cartoons Wario Land and Deranged Animation. On January 26, 2023, the game was eventually launched on PC via Steam, following five years of development and countless public and private demos. Peppino Spaghetti is a tense and irritable Italian chef who owns a failed pizza restaurant. One day, he is accosted by Pizzaface, a giant sentient pizza and ruler of the Pizza Tower, who threatens to destroy Peppino's eatery with a giant laser. As a result, Peppino embarks on a mission with pizza cook Gustavo to destroy the Pizza Tower and save his shop.
