Philippe Gisselmann is a French musician, composer and producer whose career spans more than fifty years. A soprano saxophonist from age 14, he made his mark with the progressive rock band Carmina (1971–1977), which shared the stage with Ange and Zao and moved in Magma's orbit; the album Carmina — Hamra has just been released. He went on to work with Yochk'o Seffer, taught at the Pantin Conservatory, and composed 50+ production-music albums as Artistic Director of the Encore Merci label — winning Sacem's Grand Prix de l'édition musicale in 2021. His work is published by Universal Production Music (Industrial Art, Land Art, Neo Project…), available for synchronization in films, TV series, advertising and documentaries internationally.
