1000s of unread emails in Gmail? Nuke spammers in 1 click.

Hi PH -- I recently launched Simplehuman, a browser extension that makes Gmail work like Superhuman and ended the day on 4th.
I took the last few weeks to build a "Nuke" feature that deletes all emails from a spammy marketing company and blocks future emails too. This is very privacy friendly, as you do not need to give access to your email inbox to make this work for you.

Why I built this?

My app was primarily meant for founders and business owners and was being used only on work email inboxes. I wanted to increase the market size of who can use my app, and was looking for a consumer use case. From my conversations with my friends and beta users, I realised most of them struggle with 1000s of emails in their inbox and it is never manageable. I never had this problem, as I used filters effectively to auto-delete or reroute my emails to different folders. Turns out, many people do not know the existence of email filters. So, I decided to build something to make it easier to use.

Superhuman Inbox AI looks promising...

Curious to know if this will let me "set and forget" my inbox... I may have too many trust issues!

My Top 5 Launches From The Last Week (From The POV of a Startup Scout)

I used to be a startup scout, and one of my sources of deal flow was actually the Product Hunt leaderboard. For fun, I m going to pick the top five products I find most interesting that launched in the last week from a scout POV. I ll try to veer away from the top products each day to keep things interesting.

@Check Supply (Send checks in the mail) --> Takes something that s been around for decades and feels like it s stuck in the Stone Age, and lowers the friction to accomplish the task at hand. Do young Gen Z ers even know how to write a check? I don't know, but I know many systems still rely on these. This makes sense.

@PickR (free e-sports prediction game) - Betting is in. I can bet on political events via @Polymarket. I can bet on sports. It s natural to assume betting on e-sports is going to be just as big (if not bigger). I see PickR building the stepping stones to unlock the next wave of betting, for better or for worse. (I don t even know if this is their intent, but this is where my brain went.)
