rule30 is an AI research lab for venture, with its own fund. We’ve built a decision engine that reasons probabilistically about early stage startup investing, moving beyond pattern matching, hype, and gut feel. Named after Wolfram’s “rule 30” - a simple rule that generates infinite complexity - we apply the same principle to startups: uncovering hidden structure in the noise, and showing what’s inevitable before it’s obvious. For founders → a market signal others notice. For angels → early access to the companies everyone else will chase later. For LPs → proof that venture, like every other market, will ultimately yield to systems.
