The hardest part wasn’t maps—it was rebuilding trips.

We thought displaying visited places would be the difficult part.

It turned out the real challenge was determining where one trip ends and another begins using only photo metadata.

We spent weeks refining algorithms to group thousands of photos into meaningful journeys without any manual input.
