Looks like a great resource but painfully slow to load and interact. Opening up developer tab to find it performs 1005 http requests! 16 seconds later I can begin interacting with the page. Seems most of the requests are for the pngs so it could be useful to generate a sprite map server side and send that over with offsets in css to increase performance.

Reminds me of the 1960's Futuro houses. I seem to remember watching a documentary that mentioned the major problem was temperature control - Heat recovery wasn't an issue it was getting rid of the heat.
