Launching PJ Puzzles on Product Hunt at midnight PDT tonight two daily puzzle games: ChromaTiles (a Sudoku/Pips-style color-logic puzzle) and LetterSwatch (a word puzzle with a color-coding twist).
One thing I'd genuinely love input on ahead of launch: how do you feel about difficulty in daily puzzle games? Do you like when "hard" mode feels genuinely hard, or does it turn you off if a daily puzzle takes too long to solve? Trying to calibrate ChromaTiles' harder tiers and curious how people think about this generally.
Happy to answer anything else about the games too launching in a few hours!
PJ Puzzles is a small site with two original daily puzzle games (more coming):
ChromaTiles — a color-logic puzzle in the Sudoku/Pips family. Place tiles so adjacent edges match.
LetterSwatch — three five-letter words share a grid - a hint of color for duplicate letters helps you solve.
Both puzzles are free, no account needed, and there's an archive if you want more than today's. There's also an iOS app if you'd rather have it on your phone - the web version is the full game.
