Dabble Me is a private, email-based journal designed to help people actually stick with journaling. Instead of another app, it sends simple prompts you reply to by email. Past entries resurface automatically, turning journaling into a memory loop, not a chore. No social features, no AI, no algorithms. Free to start, with optional upgrades for photos, search, and organization. Built for real life, not streaks.

I built Dabble Me because I kept quitting every journal I tried. Not because I didnβt care, but because life got busy and the habit never stuck. I wanted something that met me where I already was: my inbox. Itβs been quietly working for over a decade, helping thousands of people keep a journal they actually return to. This launch is a much-needed polish and a fresh look on a proven product, not...

@christophepas this is super slick! I've been looking for this exact kind of solution, but hooked into Notion (not needing to export/import into a separate service) and ideally delivered via asking questions to a Slackbot.

Will give it switch from Toggl β would love to see some keyboard shortcuts for things like switching days. Also: would want it to process `1hr" appropriately when typing that into the time field.

Any kind of update list to be notified when this might hit the market? Seems like it might be in the prototyping phase, still?

Thanks for this @matttbrown! Currently deep in knowledge building around this topic. Maybe you talk about this in the e-book, but it seems like a Solo 401(k) would be one of the bigger levers for certain freelancers to pull to reduce their tax burden...but not seeing it mentioned. Was that deliberately left out, and if so why?

@dean_mcpherson this is awesome! We've been a paid Paperform agency user since day 1 and this is exactly why...love the speed of builds y'all are doing down in Australia! We currently use Calendly, and this almost replaces it for it, albeit a few wishes for the product. I realize the target is not exactly a Calendly replacement, but rather for the service industry so take this feedback from a...

What's the relationship between Investor Hunt that @juhaszhenderson launched last year? The FAQ looks word-for-word and the layout is clearly "inspired", but the other one has 5k more contacts. Did you end up just scraping the existing product to launch your own?

Love this. Nice work, @leggett! It just barely clashes with the Copper CRM extension (and I imagine same will happen with things like Streak) where the activate button appears next to the Settings/Search icons and has some placement weirdness with the extension activated. That said, it's definitely worth still using it. Just thought I'd call it out in case it's an easy fix.

@clearlykoren how do the funds get to the charities? The "fund concept" seems quite similar to https://www.brightfunds.org/explore -- could you explain the difference?

Read the Terms of Service before signing up for this one. What you're signing up for is not an email passthrough service, it's a data collection service that requires you to give them your purchase details. Pretty shitty bait and switch based on what the product shots show here.

This is awesome, @bentossell! As a developer that gets pitched almost daily, I'll definitely be recommending this as a resource for the not-as-technical folks to get their idea in motion. The other side of side projects that I field questions around seems to be coming up more and more as well: incorporation + operations. GDPR is a big one that affects side projects that are published on the...

Looking forward to checking this out! Tapping around on mobile was throwing a ton of 500 errors (using browser inside Product Hunt iOS app). Was this built from scratch or did you use any open source solutions as the base?

@oldestlivingboy if you're open to the idea, you might check out @dustin's Open Office Hours to get some help thinking through the UX on your app. I've been confused a few times not realizing there are two big settings and not knowing what to click to toggle them.

@cgimmer great looking product. We've been looking for something like this that we could partner with at Brandfolder to give our customers the ability to resize + post assets in their Brandfolder to a number of different social media sites. Is that something you'd be interested in trying to make work? If the response makes sense to move to email: firstName@brandfolder.com
