About

Founder & creator of ParcSync global navigation, Ev charging global locator with pump stats and a Free Parking sharing feature where you can swap Street Parking securely, safely, pin verified and contactless. Built on Mapbox and Google maps software. I got tired of circling city blocks hunting for parking while spots were opening up all around me—just with no way to know. So, I started ParcSync: a community driven network where drivers signal in real time when they're leaving, turning the parking search into something people solve together. All live and in Real time user to user.

What's the most infuriating part of finding parking in your city?

I'm Jarrod, Founder behind ParcSync we're launching a real-time, peer-to-peer parking app on Product Hunt soon, so parking is on my mind constantly right now.

But I want to hear from you before I say anything about what we built.

The premise we started from: circling the block for a spot is one of those small, universal miseries nobody has actually fixed. Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps tell you where things are none of them help you with the last 10 minutes when you're already there and there's nowhere to put your car.

So I'm curious:

Would you share your parking spot with a stranger for rewards?

Curious to get people's honest take on this, since it's the core bet we made with ParcSync.

The idea: when you're about to leave a parking spot, you mark it available in the app. A nearby driver sees it live, claims it, and gets directions straight there. We added a PIN system so the handoff is verified on both sides you're not just trusting a stranger blindly.

Drivers who share spots earn "karma" and rewards for doing it.

A few things I'd genuinely love feedback on:

What's the most frustrating parking experience you've had — and where?

We built ParcSync the Nationwide & Global GPS navigation app because circling for parking in NYC drove us crazy: you finally arrive somewhere, then spend 20 minutes hunting for a spot or paying garage prices. The idea is to let drivers share real street spots in real time so you skip the circling.

But parking pain isn't just a big-city thing. So we're curious for those of you outside major metros, is finding parking actually a problem where you live, or is it mostly an urban headache? Trying to understand where a tool like this is genuinely useful. Honest answers welcome, including "parking's never an issue for me."
