I built Opula because I wanted to ask an AI real questions about my own money and get answers grounded in actual data, not vague guesses. Opula is a remote MCP server you connect once to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client. Your assistant can then read your net worth, holdings, cash flow, dividends, and risk, and pull live market and Federal Reserve economic data to build briefs and net-worth projections. A few principles: your data stays yours, authenticated and scoped to you at the database layer, and tools only return server-computed data, never free-form guesses. Bring your own market and macro API keys, so the hosted tier stays free. It builds briefs and answers questions, but it is not your advisor. Personalized advice and taxes stay with a real professional.
