Solo founder, building Tamis

About

Solo founder based in France. I build Tamis: it reads thousands of documents against your criteria, shows you the ones that matter first, and tells you with a measured guarantee what is left in the pile you did not read. Made for literature reviews, drug safety monitoring and contract due diligence. Before that: a PhD in data mining (INSA Lyon, 2016), ten years as a full-stack engineer (Java, Node.js, Python), and since 2024 freelance work designing document analysis systems, from construction specifications to HR matching. Happy to talk about systematic reviews, pharmacovigilance and due diligence.

I built Tamis because I was tired of missing important details in long documents

Hey! I m the maker of Tamis!

I built it because I often had to go through very long PDFs and documents to find a few important pieces of information during my thesis or in my day jobs :D

Tamis is more about screening documents systematically than being a classic chat with your PDF or RAG tool: you define what you want to check, it goes through the documents, and it shows you what it found, with the corresponding references so you can verify everything yourself in a few seconds across thousands of documents.

I m especially interested in making this reliable enough for real, everyday professional use. The project is tailored to a few specific use cases, but it can still be used in a more generic way.

Tamis - Screen thousands of documents without reading them all

Tamis reads every document against your brief, shows the likeliest first and learns from each decision. A random audit then proves what is left in the unread pile. For systematic reviews, drug safety monitoring and contract due diligence.
