I’m one of the founders of Massive, which is developing an alternative to ads and paywalls for making money and paying online and was motivated by my frustrations as an app developer (and internet user) over most of the last decade. In that time, I created 7 independent apps that’ve topped 1M active users and another 14 that’ve topped 10k. Altogether, my apps have been installed 20M+ times, been rated an average of 4.5+ out of 5 stars by users, and been featured 1k+ times by the press and platform vendors – including in Forbes, on 60 Minutes, and by Apple, Google, Mozilla, and Opera. I’ve had, among them, an app named one of the 100 best innovations by Popular Science, one of the 20 best Chrome extensions and 20 best Firefox add-ons by Lifehacker, and the best technology at Launch.
