Auditor, Building for Auditors

About

I hated my job for 6 years (still do). I married a colleague who felt the same way - though we seem good at it. I kept a list of the processes I hated, hoping to fix them someday. Turns out it wasn't just me: 90% of auditors I interviewed said sample testing was mind-numbing. Companies spend $180K–$2M annually on SOX testing alone, and that’s just 1 of like 6 audits full of repeat work. Over 50% of that can be automated. When AI emerged, I teamed up with my golf buddy (a Tempo software engineer) to build CoAuditor - an AI-powered platform that automates internal audit fieldwork. Thanks for rooting for us

We built your next internal audit colleague- CoAuditor

Hey everyone, I'm Ola, and I hate my job.

Lol, honestly I did for 6 years as an internal auditor and later ICFR/SOX auditor at EY and KPMG.

want to check something. Business teams sends you realistic AI generated invoice, how will you know?

For real, as AI gets better, synthetic documents are becoming a real audit and compliance risk, for insurers, banks, procurement, and expense claims everywhere.

Since I don t have 2025 eyesight, we built a May be AI-generated flag into CoAuditor. It helps audit teams spot potentially AI-created or manipulated files before they slip through testing.

So companies expect auditors to review thousands of evidences manually, and reliably? Yeeeah Right😏

I have been there and trust me we are all fooling ourselves

Imagine the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) manually reviewing case evidences, imagine how many cold cases, wrongful convictions that happened when they used to?
