As for advanced mode, you can't even try it before buy. Pros: I am one of early Shift adopters and always liked their approach to GUI of an email client with multiple accounts. Cons: Their pricing model always was a bit weird for an email client, but now it is more expensive than some professional software.

Phone calls are bad taste and impolite in many cases. Every phone should support texting, period.
