My name is Edwin Kiptoo Ngetich. I am an African writer, with real authentic data about the continent and her people's dimensions of life. My ambition (and which i have currently started) is to explore African problems and possibilities. In the words of Chinua Achebe, I don't want to be "an African creative writer who tries to avoid the big social and political issues of contemporary Africa and end up being completely irrelevant—like that absurd man in the proverb who leaves his burning house to pursue a rat fleeing from the flames."
