Wassup PH 👋 I'm Nathan, co-founder of HomeWerk. First off, I'd like to say thank you to the legendary @chrismessina for hunting us 🏹 At HomeWerk we believe that the #futureofwork is going to be remote-first so we built a platform to help teams build stronger relationships whilst working remotely. Last year I spoke to over 200 companies and it was clear that many struggled to keep their teams...

It seems someone read my mind today! Very cool. Is there a way to specify a sender name - as you did with Talent500? What happens if the recipient doesn't have you saved as a contact?

Check out Deep Work by Cal Newport (good write up here https://medium.com/@nina.semczuk/5-practices-from-deep-work-by-cal-newport-thatll-change-your-life-303847ec5f3c) it really shows how it important it is to go 'deep' to achieve your goals. What deep means is really up to you! Another quick fix, and something I've mentioned loads of times before is the Pomodoro technique...

I would 100% do it again but better than the first time. And then again but even better than the last time. And then again but even better than both times before. And then again but even better than all the times before! Gotta love the process!
Is it really worth it?

Here are a couple of things I do 1) Use a Pomodorro timer to set myself 25 minute chunks where I just have to focus on the problem - it's amazing how much you can do in 25mins without any distractions. 2) Stop giving a fuck. Be okay with less than perfect. The number one blocker is feeling overwhelmed and stuck in perfection paralysis. Just get it done and worry about polishing it up later....
