I created Flashlight, the Spotlight plugin platform this is based on. I've written a bunch of plugins for it, but I find myself using this plugin from Marc Bachman more than any of the others. It's incredibly π being able to insert emoji anywhere, just by bringing up Spotlight and searching.

Nice! This is tangential to what Tab Snooze does, but I've always wanted an extension that just takes all my tabs, closes them, and sends them to Instapaper.

Hey all, One day I wanted to write a plugin to let me search for weather forecasts in Spotlight β but I discovered Spotlight didn't have an API. So I made one, by injecting code into the Spotlight process. It's not perfect (and certainly not as good as Alfred at this point) β but I think it's a big plus to be integrated into existing Spotlight results.

If you're a teacher β or you know any β check it out and please give feedback at team@instagradeapp.com or on Twitter. I'm not a teacher myself so I have no idea how this works in the real world. Early users seem to be using it pretty heavily, but it's impossible that I'd get it 100% right on the first release.
