About

I help ideas travel from the first spark to a real product. I care about the whole journey, not only the outcome. I test ideas in practice, build the first working version, see how people respond and develop only what truly makes sense.

What I changed in mykyta Record after the first user feedback

Since the launch, one of the first reviews called out a real UX flaw: choosing a save folder every time made a quick recording feel slow. I had focused on the capture itself and overlooked the last ten seconds of the workflow. Fair point.
That is now fixed: choose a folder once, and the finish screen lets you open the saved recording. Chrome may ask to restore folder access after a restart. I also added quality controls (1080p, 2K, 4K; 30 or 60 FPS where supported) and free Voice PRO to reduce background noise picked up by the microphone.
Nothing moved to a server. Recordings are still processed and saved on your device, with no account, cloud upload or watermark. MP4 when supported; WebM otherwise.
If you use it for bug reports or demos, what still feels awkward? I am paying attention to the small friction points now.

I've started using a simple test for AI-assisted features:

Can someone else understand what changed without sitting next to me?
