Building a niche SaaS for tailors — curious how others picked their first niche

Hey everyone

I'm Kamran, founder of Azkkan (a software & product design studio). We've worked on a few client projects, and now I'm building our first in-house product TailorTech, a SaaS to help tailoring businesses manage orders, customer measurements, and follow-ups in one place instead of registers and WhatsApp chats.

It's a pretty unglamorous, offline-heavy industry to build for, but that's exactly why I think there's room most tools out there are built for tech-savvy industries and skip over small local businesses like this.

Curious to hear from other makers here: how did you decide on your first niche/customer segment? Did you go after something broad and popular, or something narrow and underserved like I'm trying to do? Would love to hear what worked (or didn't) for you.
