My brother put me onto this game at the end of last week, and I've been playing it all weekend. You put out food and toys in your yard, then open your phone every so often to see if cats have come to play and eat. If they're still there when you return, you can photograph them for your cat notebook. After visiting, the cats leave you some in-game currency to say thanks, and you can buy more...

This is an oldie, but a goodie - and is currently available through the Humble Bundle store for $0.99. I finally played Psychonauts myself a couple of years ago when it became available on the PSN, having heard from many friends that it was fantastic. I had the most fun I've had with a 3D platformer since Mario 64. If you haven't played it before, now is a great time to nab it. Long before...

Thanks for posting Ivo - I'm a huge fan of point-and-click adventures, but haven't tried this one yet!

I chewed up a LOT of time playing this game some weeks ago, pushing through until I finished the core map. The physics and increasing destruction caused by your armored vehicles is a whole lot of fun. Definitely a time-waster, but plenty of mindless repetitive entertainment if you're keen to check out for stretches at a time. :)

This is the only game that's stayed on my Apple Watch, and I've been checking in on a few times a day. Took a bit of time to get my head around the gameplay, but having done so it's the kind of mildly satisfying fun that feels worth dedicating a minute to every few hours. Paid app, no in-app purchases, and viable gameplay on such a tiny screen.

I've been playing this for the past week or so, and really enjoying it. It's still in Early Access, and only provides a sandbox mode at this point, but is really compelling. No zombies or multiplayer, just you, the cold, a bunch of wildlife and a map to explore.
