I'm a software developer and serial entrepreneur based in Toronto, Ontario. I spent 17 years as CTO and Chief Technical Architect at Fonolo, where we built cloud-based call-back technology for call centers before being acquired by Verint. After the acquisition I spent a year integrating the platform, then founded Generator Labs in 2025, an infrastructure monitoring platform focused on email deliverability, SSL certificate health, and domain reputation. I created NetDNS2, a widely-used PHP DNS resolver library, and run Mr.DNS, a free network diagnostics tool covering DNS, DNSSEC, SSL, and email authentication. I've been running Mr.Host, a Canadian web hosting company serving small businesses, since 2000. GoodTLS is my latest project.
